• Account details such as name, email, phone number, blood group, date of birth, gender, and address.
• Profile photo and Blood DOT ID generated for your account.
• Location data when you create blood requests or enable donor availability.
• Fundraising campaign content including patient details, photos, and medical documents.
• Payment order metadata for fundraising donations processed through Razorpay.
• Device push notification identifiers through OneSignal.

How we use information

• To create and manage your account.
• To match blood seekers with nearby donors.
• To review, approve, or reject fundraising campaigns and related requests.
• To process donations, verify payments, and maintain donation history.
• To send service notifications about request status, approvals, and payments.
• To improve safety, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing of information

We may share limited information with matched donors or seekers, payment processors such as Razorpay, notification providers such as OneSignal, cloud storage providers, and administrators reviewing campaigns. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain account and transaction records as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion as described in our Account & Data Deletion page.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including authenticated APIs, secure payment verification, and restricted admin access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Blood DOT is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
